Device for soldering the contact springs and wires to the cells of electric flashlight batteries.
Patentiert im Deutschen Reiche vom 2. August 1918 ab.Patented in the German Empire on August 2, 1918.
Die Arbeiterin stapelte zu diesem Zwecke eine größere Anzahl loser Zellen zwischen zweiThe electric flashlight batteries consist of several, mostly three, cylindrical ones Cells to which the various contact springs and wires are soldered have to. Soldering the contact springs and wires to the still loose cells of flashlight batteries was very cumbersome and associated with various evils. The worker stacked for this purpose a greater number of loose cells between two
Nails in several rows on top of each other and first dabbed the soldering points with soldering water, whereupon she made the soldering for the springs and wires with the soldering iron. It could not be avoided that the soldering fluid from the upper cells on the lower dripped. The upper cells exerted damaging pressure by squeezing them the lower cells from, and moreover ίο the cells suffered by the required multiple Easily pick up damage.
The purpose of the present invention is now to remove the cells during soldering To be arranged in rows conveniently and manageably so that the above-mentioned inconveniences are completely can be avoided and a clean and quick soldering is made possible.
Zur Erreichung des angestrebten Zieles wirdTo achieve the desired goal
in einem Kasten eine Anzahl Fächer übereinander vorgesehen, von denen jedes eine Reihe loser Zellen aufnimmt, die an den erforderlichen Stellen mit Lötwasser betupft und mit den Kontaktfedern und -drähten verlötet werden können, ohne daß das abtropfende Lötwasser auf die unteren Zellenreihen gelangen kann.in a box a number of compartments are provided one above the other, each of which is a row of loose cells, which are dabbed with soldering fluid at the required places and with the Contact springs and wires can be soldered without the dripping soldering water can get to the lower rows of cells.
Sind die Zellen eines Faches fertig gelötet,When the cells of a compartment are completely soldered,
dann wird dieses Fach in einen zweiten Kasten gestellt, der allmählich mit den verschiedenen Fächern der fertig gelöteten Zellen ausgefüllt wird.then this compartment is placed in a second box that gradually contains the various Fanning the finished soldered cells is filled.
Die Erfindung sei an Hand beiliegender Zeichnung näher erläutert. Es bedeutet: Abb. ι eine Vorderansicht der Einrichtung, Abb. 2 eine Stirnansicht von Abb. 1, Abb. 3 einen Grundriß von Abb. χ bei aufgeklapptem Deckel, währendThe invention will be explained in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawing. It means: Fig. Ι a front view of the device, Fig. 2 is a front view of Fig. 1, Fig. 3 is a plan view of Fig. Χ with the lid open, while
Abb. 4 ein einzelnes Fach in Oberansicht veranschaulicht.Figure 4 illustrates a single compartment in top view.
The box a, of which a number are used in the company, is completely open and exposed at the front and has a hinged lid b and two end walls c, c '. The same is filled with compartments d , which are stiffened and subdivided by transverse strips d '. In each of the three compartments of the compartment, as indicated in Fig. 1, there is space for ten loose cells, so that one compartment in a row can accommodate 30 cells. Before the soldering work begins, a box go is filled with the cell compartments, and the lid b of the box α is knocked up, that is, opened, so that the top row of cells is completely freely accessible from above. The worker now dabs all the soldering points in the top row with the soldering water and uses the soldering iron to carry out the necessary soldering. When the contact springs and wires for the top row of cells are completely soldered, the top compartment d is taken out of the filled box and the compartment is placed in an empty box that is kept ready for this purpose. The same work is then carried out with the second row of cells, i.e. the second from the top, in the manner described above. You continue with the work until the box is empty and can be filled again. The right end wall c 'can be opened and is pulled back during the soldering work so that the wood is not burned with the soldering iron when soldering the end cells.
The soldering work can be carried out very clearly and conveniently in the manner described without the worker having to touch the cells repeatedly with her hand as before. Namely will also the great disadvantage avoided that individual cells fall off the stack and suffer damage as a result.
