Kompressor. In dem Hauptpatent 34514a wird zur Erhöhung der Fördermenge bei Niederdruckbetrieb ein Zusatzarbeitsraum hinzugefügt, der bei Hochdruckbetrieb ganz oder teilweise ausgeschaltet wird. Durch diese Maßnahme wird erreicht, daß der Zusatzarbeitsraum nur bei N iederdruckbetrieb, nicht aber bei Hochdruckbetrieb, voll ausgenutzt wird. Soll auch bei Hochdruckbetrieb eine volle Ausnutzung des Zusatzarbeitsraumes stattfinden, so kann man ihn bei dieser Betriebsart als eine selbständige Stufe des Kompressors mitarbeiten lassen. Durch diese Vermehrung der Stufen erhält man auch eine günstigere Druckverteilung. Bei Niederdruckbetrieb werden zur Erhöhung der Fördermenge-wieder mehrere Stufen des Kompressors zur ersten Stufe desselben vereinigt.Compressor.
