Gardinenspannrahmen. Es sind Gardinenspannrahmen, bestehend aus je zwei gegeneinander beweglichen, ungeteilt durchlaufenden lot- und wagerechten Spannleisten bekannt, die mittels durch Sperrradgetriebe bewegter Zugseile oder Ketten verstellt werden. Da aber die Zugmittel sich bald dehnen und verschleißen, auch oft reißen, ist, zumal die Sperradgetriebe die Weiterschaltung der Zugmittel und dadurch der Spannleisten nur ruckweise gestatten,- die Gefahr eines Einreißens der Gardinen nicht vermieden. Zur Behebung dieses Nachteiles hat man die Spannleisten von Gardinenspannrahrnen auch schon durch Spannschrauben verbunden; hierbei bestand jede Spannleiste aus zwei Teilen, deren Enden durch die Spannschraube miteinander verbunden waren. An dieser konnte aber die Gardine nicht befestigt werden, so daß ein Teil derselben ungespannt bleiben mußte.Curtain frame.
