Nach der Erfindung ist eine Schleuder für ununterbrochenen Betrieb mit undurchlässigem, auf und ab beweglichem Trommelmantel und achsial gerichteten, den Boden und Deckel der Schleuder verbindenden Stegen so ausgebildet, daß ohne Störung des in Klärung befindlichen Gutes eine restlose Entwässerung stattfindet. Dies wird dadurch erreicht, daß Hohlstege zur Verwendung kommen, die mit sieb- oder filterartig ausgestalteten Seitenwänden und oberen oder unteren Öffnungen für den Austritt der Flüssigkeit versehen sind. Sind die Einlauflöcher in den hohlen Stegen nahe am Trommelmantel angeordnet, so werden die Löcher allmählich von dem trockenen Gut verdeckt; die Flüssigkeit muß infolgedessen das getrocknete Gut durchdringen, so daß die abgeschiedene Flüssigkeit hierdurch gefiltert wird.
