Es ist bekannt, bei aufeinander gleitenden Maschinenteilen, z. B. bei Uhren, die Reibung dadurch möglichst zu vermindern, daß man die betreffenden Teile aus verschiedenem Material herstellt, z. B. die Achse aus gehärtetem Stahl, und die Lager aus Messing. Bei dem Versuche, diesen Konstruktionsgrundsatz auf die Antriebsvorrichtungen zu übertragen, die in Spritzmalapparaten die Bewegung des Luft- und Farbventils bewirken, hat sich nun herausgestellt, daß hier keineswegs ohne weiteres in dem angedeuteten Sinne verfahren werden kann, da es sich hier nicht, wie bei Uhren, um ruhig aufeinanderlaufende Teile handelt, sondern vielmehr eine ungleichmäßige, stoßweise und auch oft recht ungeschickte Inanspruchnahme der betreffenden Teile stattfindet, je nach dem Arbeitsgegenstande, der Malweise und der Geschicklichkeit des Arbeiters. Um diesen Übelständen abzuhelfen, mußten nicht nur die in Betracht kommenden Reibungsflächen auf das denkbar geringste Maß beschränkt werden, sondern es mußte auch dafür Sorge getragen werden, daß die dem Verschleiß am meisten ausgesetzten Bestandteile nicht nur an den Reibungsflächen gehärtet waren, sondern daß auch' der aus weniger hartem Material bestehende und daher leichter verschleißende Teil leicht auswechselbar war, um so bei dennoch eintretendem Verschleiß nur eben diesen erneuern zu müssen. Es ergab sich demnach an Hand langjähriger Versuche und Erfahrungen eine Bauweise, wie sie in der Zeichnung in einer beispielsweisen Ausführungsform schematisch dargestellt ist. Hierbei ist ι der auswechselbar gemachte Ansatz des Luftventils. 2 ist der Führungsbock des Farbventils. 3 ist der Nocken des Betätigungshebels, 4 ein in den Führungsbock 2 einschraubbarer, gehärteter, auswechselbarer Kopf, der in eine Spitze ausläuft, um die Reibungsfläche möglichst zu vermindern.
