Description
The invention relates to a bundle shear with horizontal Pipe bundle feed according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
From DE-OS 26 39 850 it is in a bundle shear known with vertical tube bundle feed, a collection of radioactive Avoid dust and the parts surrounding the bundle cool. Here the magazine in which the tube bundle is located cooled by circulating water and flushing with nitrogen, which also includes the dust particles resulting from cutting the bundle of the nuclear fuel. Apart from the fact that this is a so-called vertical Bundle shears, special cutting dust is not available.
In the case of a fuel bundle shear with horizontal tube bundle feed, as is known for example from DE-PS 32 20 802, becomes when cutting the tube bundle from the open tubes trickling uranium dust partially captured by the purging air and with it through the outlet opening for the cut pipe pieces in the Scissor housing lower part discharged into the subsequent chute, the opens into a device for dissolving. Not from the purge air The proportion of uranium dust captured in the lower part of the scissors housing falls through the gap between the housing wall and the knife carriage and rests on the Bottom of the lower part of the scissors housing gradually. If the functionality the bundle shears and blockages in the lower part of the shears housing to be avoided, this must be deposited radioactive dust after a certain number of operating hours be removed. To remove the deposited uranium dust the lower part of the scissors housing must be used with this type of scissors the upper housing part and the knife carriage are dismantled, and Then, taking into account the safety regulations, a spoon-like remote-controlled manipulator the uranium dust from the Lower part of the housing raised. An application of liquids to remove the deposited Uranium dust from the fuel bundle shear is not advisable because residual moisture remains in the lower part of the scissors housing, that still promotes dust deposition. These types of dust removal are not only very cumbersome, but also costly because the fuel bundle shear for dust removal for a long time cannot be used.
The invention is therefore based on the object of Bundle shears with cutting dust discharge in the preamble of the main claim specified type so that the radioactive dust residue automatically and continuously without shutting down the bundle shears derived from the scissor housing and fed to the opening device becomes.
This object is achieved according to the invention in the characterizing Part of the main claim specified features solved.
The advantages achieved with the invention are in particular that the intervention works to remove the cutting dust the scissor housing and the resulting longer downtimes the bundle shears are eliminated.
There are also additional ones for removing all the cutting dust remote-controlled devices or additional cleaning medium not mandatory.
Advantageous developments of the invention are the subclaims refer to.
Es zeigenEmbodiments of the invention are schematic in the drawing are shown and are described in more detail below. Show it

Fig. 2 shows a section along the line AB in Fig. 1 with two cutting dust deflecting devices on a larger scale, only the objects essential to the invention are drawn.
The fuel assembly bundle shear 1 with a horizontal tube bundle feed shown in part in FIG. 1 has a two-part shear housing, each with a guide rail in the upper and lower parts 2 and 3 of the housing for a horizontally displaceable knife carriage 4 belonging to the cutting device. Behind the cutting device, as seen from the tube bundle feed, there is an opening 6 in the bottom 5 of the lower part 3 of the scissors housing, through which the cut pieces of tube fall out of the scissor housing with the interposition of a base plate 7 into a connecting shaft 8 , which into a device for dissolving ( not shown) opens. Through this bottom opening 6 , part of the scavenging air introduced into the scissor housing, together with part of the radioactive dust produced when the tubes of the tube bundle are cut, also reaches the chute 8 . The bottom 5 of the lower part 3 of the scissors housing is designed as a grating 10 between the housing wall 9 facing the tube bundle feed and the housing side walls. The radioactive dust residue trickled into the gap between knife carriage 4 and housing wall 9 is conveyed from the scissor housing through the grate 10 and adjoining base plate 7 via a discharge device 11 into the chute 8 by a diverting air component. The openings in the floor grid 10 are congruent with the slots in the base plate 7 . The discharge device 11 is connected to the underside of the base plate 7 in an airtight manner and consists of at least one collecting funnel 12 , to which a discharge duct 13 connects, which is connected to a connecting piece 14 of the chute 8 .
As can be seen from FIG. 2, the webs 15 of the floor grate 10 are designed to be trapezoidal on their surfaces facing the cutting tools. If two collecting funnels 12 and 12 ' , as shown, are arranged, the web 15' located therebetween ' serves from the floor grate 10 as a separating element for the dust-laden purge air component to be discharged.
An embodiment with two collecting funnels 12 and 12 ' is cheaper in that the funnel angle is made steeper and this ensures a more optimal derivation. Each hopper 12, 12 ' has a flange 16, 16' with which it is airtightly attached to the base plate 7 and a second flange 17, 17 ' at its outlet. This flange 17, 17 ' is also airtightly connected to a flange 18, 18' of the discharge duct 13, 13 ' , the other flange 19, 19' of which is connected to the connecting piece 14, 14 'of the common chute 8 in an airtight manner.
To further improve the cutting dust discharge, it is possible to arrange a filler 20 designed as a grate on the bottom 5 of the lower part 3 of the scissors housing. The grate webs 21 of the filler 20 should suitably be wedge-shaped.
