Wie in Fig. 1 dargestellt, ist die aus den Plattenelemen ten 1 bestehende und nur teilweise gezeigte Wannenverklei dung zur Verkleidung des offenen Bereiches zwischen Boden und Wannenrand 3 vorgesehen. Die Plattenelemente 1 sind aus einem Hartschaum hergestellt und besitzen in ihren Stirnseiten rechteckige Ausnehmungen 20, welche nach oben, d. h. zur oberen Fläche 9 hin offen sind. Jeweils zwei mit einander zu verbindende Plattenelemente 1 stoßen mit den Stirnseiten aneinander und bilden eine Stoßfuge. In die Ausnehmungen 20 ist eine Paßfeder 4 einsetzbar, welche die Plattenelemente 1 miteinander verbindet. Das Plattenele ment 1 weist in seiner oberen Stirnfläche 9 im Abstand zuein ander angeordnete Ausnehmungen 15 auf, in welchen je ein Abstandshalter 6 und ein Haltewinkel 7 angeordnet sind. Der Abstandshalter 6 ist als Flacheisen ausgebildet und weist ein Langloch 10 auf. Der Haltewinkel 7 ist ein Winkeleisen mit einem ein Langloch 11 aufweisenden Teil und einem sich rechtwinklig dazu erstreckenden Schenkel 21. Abstandshalter 6 und Haltewinkel 7 sind übereinander angeordnet und durch eine gemeinsame Schraube 12, die durch die Langlöcher 10 und 11 hindurchgreift, mit dem Plattenelement 1 verbindbar. Die Montage des Plattenele mentes 1 erfolgt so, daß der Abstandshalter 6 mit einer Stirnfläche gegen die Außenseite 5 der Wanne 2 abgestützt ist. Gleichzeitig wird der Haltewinkel 7 so verschoben, daß er sich mit seinem Schenkel 21 gegen den Wanneninnen rand 8 abstützt. Die Schraube 12 kann dann festgezogen werden. Es ist über die Langlöcher 10, 11 außerdem möglich noch die Stellung des Plattenelementes 1 gegenüber dem Wannenrand 3 zu verändern, d. h. dieses Element mehr oder minder tief unter den Wannenrand hineintauchen zu lassen. Eine solche Verstellung ist wünschenswert, um beispielsweise die zu verfliesende obere Fläche 9 an bestimmte Fliesenabmaße anpassen zu können. Die Verfliesung selbst wird durch den Haltewinkel 7 und den Abstandshalter 6 nicht gestört, da beide in der Ausnehmung 15 aufgenommen sind.
