International General Electric Company, Incorporated in New York. Schaufelbefestigung für Dampf- und Gasturbinen. Patentiert im Deutschen Reiche vom 12. Februar 1921 ab. International General Electric Company, Incorporated in New York. Blade attachment for steam and gas turbines. Patented in the German Empire on February 12, 1921.
Februar 1920 beansprucht.According to the Union Treaty of June 2, 1911, priority is due to this application of the application in the United States of America dated February 16, 1920.
When attaching blades to a blade carrier, for example the wheel rim, it is especially if the fastening means
Schwalbenschwanzes geschieht, erwünscht, daß die benachbarten Seiten der Schaufelfüße miteinander rund um das Rad herum so dicht in gegenseitigem Eingriff sind, daß in den Schaufeln Beanspruchungskräfte vonDovetail happens, desirable that the adjacent sides of the blade roots are so closely engaged with each other around the wheel that in the blades load forces of
Anderseits aber ist es wesentlich, daß nicht zu große Anfangsspannungen beim Anbringen der Schaufeln in dem Schaufelring entstehen, da dies zu unrichtiger Lage der Schaufeln sowie Beschädigung des Rades und der Schaufeln führen kann.such a size arise that the centrifugal forces occurring when the wheel rotates the blades cannot stretch so much that the blades are circumferential of the wheel from each other. In other words, it is desirable that the sides of the blade roots move with sufficient Apply pressure against each other in order to develop a tension in the blades themselves ίο is at least equal to the centrifugal force occurring in the company. Likewise if it is desirable that the blade roots touch the rim with sufficient pressure, see this that the resulting stress is at least equal to the centrifugal stress occurring in the company and the blade roots do not separate from the rim. On the other hand, it is essential that not too large initial stresses when attaching the blades in the blade ring arise as this leads to incorrect position of the blades as well as damage to the wheel and the blades can lead.
The purpose of the invention is to provide such an arrangement and design, that it is only possible to generate prestresses of the desired size in the blade rings. Be for this purpose according to the invention on the blade roots arranged strips that squeeze away, when the stresses reach a certain value and thereby exceed them prevent this value.
In der Zeichnung sind drei Ausführungs- · beispiele des Erfindungsgegenstandes sehe- ■ matisch dargestellt:The drawing shows three exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention shown mathematically:

Fig. 2 is a side view of Fig. 1,
Abb. 3 ein Schnitt nach Linie 3-3 der Abb. i.Fig. 3 is a section along line 3-3 of Fig. I.
FIGS. 4 and 5 are representations of a second embodiment corresponding to FIGS. 1 and 2.
Fig. 6 is a radial section through a third embodiment.
According to Fig. 1 to 3, the invention is embodied in a Schaufelbefestigung- of the type in which the wheel 9 has a ring το, which is provided with concentric undercut annular grooves, whereby folds or projections 11 arise, which towards the center of the part 9 are inclined. At the foot of the rim 10 are shoulders or lugs 12. The feet of the blades 13 are 'U-shaped, and their legs 14 ride on the rim 10. The inner sides of the legs 14 are provided with folds or projections 15 which fit into the undercut Nu - : th fit on the rim 10 so that the folds 11 and 15 interlock. Blades of this type can be assembled on the wheel rim according to a known method by giving the blade root legs 14 sufficient mutual spacing that they can be pushed astride the ring 10, whereupon the legs are pressed together and the blades are moved radially around the folds 15 and 11 to engage. According to this method, the blades are first assembled on the wheel at the correct mutual spacing, whereupon the S shovel legs of each ■ blade are squeezed or pressed against each other and against the rim, with the blades being moved outwards at the same time and thus the folds 11 and 15 in blocking intervention come. During this squeezing process, the metal of the blade root legs flows in the circumferential direction, which sometimes has the effect that adjacent blades are pressed against one another so sharply that the stresses generated in the blade ring thereby exceed the desired level by far. When the blade legs are pressed together, the folds 15 also slide upwards on the outer surfaces of the folds 11 during the radial outward movement and are thereby squeezed. The resulting friction sometimes allows the folds 15 to flow in the circumferential direction and lie so tightly and tightly against the surfaces of the next adjacent blades that the radial movement of the folds 15 to the correct position under the folds 11 is prevented. The result would be an imperfect interlocking between the folds 15 and 11.
According to the invention, the above difficulties are now avoided by arranging pinch strips 16 between the blade roots. These strips reduce the contact area between adjacent blades to such an extent that, regardless of the magnitude of the pressure exerted on the sides of the blades, no stresses exceeding a certain level can be generated in the blade ring, since when this level is exceeded the strips 16 squeeze away. At the same time Quetschleisten serve t € also to hold adjacent blades at the ends of the folds 15 is slightly separated, so that these folds, even when they flow in the circumferential direction during the crimping operation efrvas, yet does not come with adjacent blades in such a manner in contact that they could prevent the radial outward movement.
Nach dem Aufquetschen der SchaufelfüßeAfter the shovel roots have been squeezed open
Small spaces remain on the rim between the inner end the shovel legs and the shoulders 12. These spaces can be created by upsetting the ends of the blade roots or the material of the shoulders or by driving in a special caulking strip fill out. According to the drawing, the gaps are filled with a special caulking strip 17.
As shown in Figs. 4 and 5, an inverted dovetail mount is used, in the known way the blades are brought through filling slots on the wheel rim and in the circumferential direction in correct mutual spacing are moved, with the feet adjacent Blades brought into engagement with each other or with intermediate Ahstandsblocks will. The impeller 20 has a rim 21 with a bead 22, the projections 23 forms. The blades 24 are U-shaped Feet that ride with their thighs 25 on the wreath 21 and have lugs 26, which apply under approaches 23. At the foot of the wreath 21 are ring shoulders 27, against which the inner ends of the blade legs 25 rest. At 28 are ring flanges provided, which prevent lateral spreading of the blade legs. Between the adjacent blades there are pinch strips 29, similar to the pinch strips 16 of Figs. 1 to 3, provided, and at the inner .Ends of the blade root legs there are pinch strips 30 between the bottoms of the legs and the flanges 28 rest.
When carrying out the invention on a wheel according to Fig. 4 and 5 is initially the Blade ring is attached to the wheel rim in the usual way, and the filling openings are closed by blocks. The blade roots are now in good engagement with one another. Then a number of the blades are caulked at regular intervals around the wheel, so that in the Shovels themselves a tension arises, which, the centrifugal force occurring in the operation is the same or almost the same.
Tensions beyond a certain amount cannot arise in the blade ring as a result of the caulking, since the strips 29 push away. The wheel is also caulked along the lateral surfaces of the shoulders 27 in order to drive the latter out radially and to bring the lugs 26 into firm engagement with the lugs 23. The use of the Ouetsch strips 30 avoids the possibility of excessive stresses developing in the ring 21 and the shovel legs. With the last-mentioned caulking, some material can be pushed away or made to flow into the spaces between the pinch strips 30, as indicated at A in FIG. 5. This helps lock the blades in place.
The pinch strips 30 can run transversely or in the circumferential direction. To Fig. 4 and 5 they are directed transversely, while according to Fig. 6 they run in the circumferential direction.
·According to Fig. 6, the wheel 20 ß carries the blades 24 ". The pinch strips 29 s and 30" correspond to the strips 29 and 30 of Fig. 4 and 5. Of course, Ouetsch strips 30 or 2> ° a according to Fig. 4 to- 6, if desired, can also be used with the designs according to Fig. 1 to 3. ·
