Hierbei zeigt sich der Nachteil, daß die auf oder zwischen den Geweben gelagerte Mineralfaserschicht durch die Saug-und Druchwirkungen, welchen die Filter ausgesetzt sind, in kurzer Zeit beschädigt und durohlöchert wird, denn die Versteifungsmittel dürfen nicht feinmaschig gehalten sein, da sich sonst der Staub im Vlies zwischen den Versteifungsniitteln festsetzt, so daß in kurzer Zeit jede Filtration unmöglich ist.
