Bisher konnten die aus Glyzerinpech hergestellten Lösungen nur zu Erzeugnissen von verhältnismäßig geringem Werte, z. Die Veredelung des gelösten Glyzerinpechs wird ,dald'urch erreicht, <laß .die mitgelösten Verunreinigungen, welche im wesentlichen aus Salzen der niedrigen Fettsäuren bestehen, mit Hilfe von Schwermetallsalzen oder Verbindungen der alkalischen Erden oder mit Hilfe von beiden ausgefällt, die Flüssigkeit filtriert, nötigenfalls eingedampft und durch Auskristallisierenlassen von Salzen so weit als. möglich befreit wird. Durch -die Fällung wird nebenbei infolge der großen Oberfläche- der Niederschläge eine Ausfällung von gelösten kolloidalen Körpern erzielt: Man kann beispielsweise in folgender Weise verfahren: i.
