Spring hammer with crank drive. Ait the spring hammers known up to now
with a crank drive it is not possible to keep the hammerbear running continuously
Hold the drive shaft in its highest position or use it to set it down
and to be able to hold it down on the workpiece under pressure. The present invention
should make this possible and consists in that the transmission of motion from the crank drive
takes place on the lever moving the bear through the mediation of an air cylinder,
in the manner known from air hammers with two chambers and one between them
lying control member is formed. The drawing shows the hammer in Fig. I
in elevation, in Fig. 2 in outline.
Das Hauptgerüst bildet der Ständer a (Abb. i).
The main frame is formed by the stand a (Fig. I). The double cylinder b is attached to the back of the stand a. The cylinder b is divided into two parts by a partition wall c, an upper part d and a lower part e. The piston f, which is connected to the crankshaft la by the connecting rod g, plunges into the 7-element lower part e. In this exemplary embodiment, the crankshaft lt is driven by a belt drive through the fixed and loose pulley i (Fig. 2). If the 'piston f is moved up and down, it sucks in the piston k in the cylinder upper part d when it descends. The piston h is connected by the connecting rod l to the leaf spring m, which is rotatably mounted in the bearing n. At the other end of the spring in is the Haminer bear o, which is guided in the stand guide p (Fig. 2). If the piston f goes back again, the piston h and with it the hammer bear o connected to it by the leaf spring -in are thrown back. This then strikes with the bear insert q on the chabotte insert r of the chabotte s, whereby the forging is effected. The impact strength of the hammer is regulated by the control t, which is attached between the two cylinders e and d and is operated by the linkage ic. In addition, the control allows the hammer bear o to be held up or held down on the forging under pressure, despite the fact that the piston f is constantly moving up and down.
