Die Erfindung betrifft eine Abschirmelektrode gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Patentanspruchs. Eine solche Abschirmelektrode ist aus der CH-PS 4 20 374 bekannt. Nachteilig bei diesen Abschirmelektroden ist, daß das Wickeln des Rohres aus Bändern aus Aluminiumfolie aufwendig ist, da regelmäßig ein Kern erforderlich ist, auf den die einzelnen Lagen des Bandes bzw. der Bänder aufgebracht werden. Besonders schwierig ist die Herstellung von Abschirmelektroden, die keine Ringform besitzen, sondern beispielsweise eine ovale Kontur oder die einer Acht haben, wie dies bei potentialsteuernden Schirmringen in Stufenschaltern der Fall sein kann. Weiterhin nachteilig ist die besonders bei komplizierten Formen unbefriedigende Stabilität und allgemein mangelhafte Öldichtigkeit solcher Abschirmelektroden.The invention relates to a shielding electrode according to the preamble of Claim. Die Stoßstelle wird mit Aluminium-Folienband umwickelt. An im Feldschatten liegen­ den Stellen werden Trag- und Anschlußelemente eingesetzt. Das Rohr wird anschließend durch geeignete Öffnungen mit einem Mehrkomponenten-Kunststoffschaum ausgeschäumt und nach dem Aushärten in der Schablone noch getempert, wodurch eine gute Formstabilität erreicht wird. Schließlich wird die Abschirmelektrode noch auf übliche Weise mit Papier umwickelt.
