Description
The invention relates to a breathing apparatus as an oxygen self-rescuer, in particular as an escape device, according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
Respiratory protective devices of the type mentioned are sealed in an airtight manner cash standby containers, for example in pits used, constantly carried by the miner and worn on the body be. For use, the device is removed from the standby container taken.
It is obvious that such a breathing apparatus for a permanent Carrying weight and dimensions must be light and small.
In a known respirator of the generic type, the respiratory tract is tel arranged above the chemical cartridge, the chemical cartridge in Ge lower part of the housing and the breathing bag with the breathing tube and mouthpiece in the Ge house cover are housed (SU-PS 2 48 504). This makes it proportional high-build housing cover required, which is the total size of the ready shaft container significantly determines, so that the respirator with the Standby container can be worn on the body using a shoulder strap got to. In the extremely rough conditions in the mine operation, this device is difficult for the miner who is always carrying the device.
In another known respirator with an oxygen-releasing chemical cartridge becomes an additional chemical cartridge to extend the service life provided, which is coupled below the first chemical cartridge (DE-OS 27 02 192). It is not an escape device, but an pure work tool with large dimensions. The breathing bag is over recessed the first chemical cartridge around.
In addition, a chemical oxygen generator is used to generate the oxygen The known sodium chlorate candle, which has a starting device and a breath bag (DE-OS 20 11 875). The sodium chlorate candle is included surrounded by an insulating material, which not only as a thermal insulation agent but also serves to filter the gases produced. This well-known version is not suitable as an escape device. Burns after igniting the sodium chlorate candle this and develops the oxygen independently of need.
Finally, an underwater breathing apparatus is known, in which the breathing bag In addition to the chemical canister, two oxygen bottles are provided as a starting aid are classified (IT-PS 3 54 739). However, this known version is not included comparable to an escape device.
The invention has for its object a particularly space-saving and compact design for an oxygen rescuer as an escape device create and train so space-saving that the device in one on the belt stand-by container to be carried on the device carrier can.
This object is achieved according to the invention in the case of a breathing apparatus mentioned type solved by the characterizing features of claim 1.
The advantages achieved with the invention are in particular that the size of the breathing apparatus is reduced and thereby the device in a small standby container to be carried on the belt ter can be accommodated. In addition, the full and double wrapping of the chemical cartridge, namely through the coating and through the breathing bag, the surface temperature of the breathing apparatus advised advantageously reduced.
The invention has surprisingly shown that it is possible to place the chemical cartridge inside the breathing bag, though too it was expected that the chemical cartridge delivered in the company Warmth for the breathing bag and for the inhalation in the breathing bag air is an unbearable burden. It was assumed that, as before, because of the known heat load for the breathing bag, it must be separated from the chemical cartridge as a heat source order is.
Further advantageous refinements of the invention result from the subclaims.
Es zeigtEmbodiments of the invention are shown in the drawing and are described in more detail below. It shows

Fig. 2 eine Schnittdarstellung nach Linie I-I, gemäß Fig. 1, Fig. 2 is a sectional view along the line II, of Fig. 1,
Fig. 4 eine schematische Darstellung des in einem Bereitschafts behälter untergebrachten erfindungsgemäßen Atemschutzgeräts, Fig. 4 is a schematic representation of the container in a standby accommodated breathing apparatus according to the invention,
Fig. 5 eine vergrößerte Detaildarstellung x nach Fig. 4. FIG. 5 shows an enlarged detailed illustration x according to FIG. 4.
In Fig. 1, an inventive respirator with Pendelat mung is shown. The breathing apparatus consists of an oxygen-evolving chemical cartridge 1 , which is closely enclosed by a heat-insulating and shock-absorbing coating 2 , a breathing tube 3 with a mouthpiece 4 , a breathing bag 5 connected to the chemical cartridge 1 and a carrying strap 6 . The breathing apparatus is housed in a standby container 7 according to FIG. 4.
Above the inlet opening D of the chemical cartridge 1 , a heat exchanger 12 is arranged and designed so that no heat contact can occur between the heat exchanger 12 and the chemical cartridge 1 . The heat exchanger 12 is surrounded by a heat-insulating housing socket 17 which rests on the top of the chemical cartridge 1 in a captive manner.
At the upper end face 5 a of the breathing bag 5 , an opening 5 b is provided through which the chemical cartridge 1 is inserted into the breathing bag. The opening 5 b is bordered by a web 5 c , on which the chemical cartridge 1 with the coating 2 and the ends of the straps tion 6 are fastened by means of a swell 22 . An overpressure valve 8 is arranged on the upper end face 5 a of the breathing bag 5 .
In Fig. 2 is a cross section through the chemical cartridge 1 with coating 2. The coating 2 has ribs 2 a , which lie at a distance from one another on the chemical cartridge outer surface A in the vertical or longitudinal axis.
The lower end face of the chemical cartridge 1 is partially covered by the coating 2 , so that the outlet opening B of the chemical cartridge is freely accessible for the exhaled and inhaled air to flow through ( FIG. 1). The upper end face of the cartridge 1 is completely covered by the cover 2 , which preferably forms a unit with the breathing tube 3 .
The coating 2 consists of a heat insulating material, for example silicone elastomers. This coating 2 contributes to the fact that, in the operating state, the heat load due to the exothermic reaction of the oxygen-developing chemical is low for the breathing bag 5 enveloping the chemical cartridge 1 . The formation of the coating 2 with the ribs 2 a resting on the chemical cartridge outer surface A creates spaces C between the outer wall A of the cartridge and the coating 2 (see FIG. 2), which serve as thermal insulation and the surface temperature of the cartridge 1 lower. The formation of the cover 2 with the ribs 2 a also has other advantages: the covering of the cover 2 over the chemical cartridge 1 during assembly is facilitated. Weight reduction for the coating 2 , so that the weight for the device to be worn on the belt becomes smaller. The rigidity of the coating 2 is increased. Overall, the cover 2 also serves as shock protection for the breathing apparatus which is accommodated in the standby container 7 .
In order to achieve optimal use of the oxygen-producing chemical and thus a longer period of use of the respirator for the device wearer, a uniform flow must be sought over the entire volume of the chemical. This is achieved by the largest possible inflow surface area by the exhaled air of the device wearer flowing through the breathing tube 3 into the chemical cartridge 1 through the chemical in the upper region axially downward and in the lateral region radially from the outside inwards. Here, the air outlet surface E projects into the chemical cartridge 1 like a dome. The flow through the cartridge is indicated by the arrows.
To prevent chemical dust from the cartridge 1 into the Atembeu tel 5 , the air outlet surface E is advantageously loosely surrounded by a dust-holding cotton wool 9 . Can to prevent ge molten Chemikal possibly run in from the cartridge 1 into the breathing bag 5 is covered the air outlet opening B of the cartridge 1 from an acute angle protruding in the opening screen 10, formed the molten Chemikal in one in the chemical cartridge 1 below Can collect drain pan 11 without clogging the flow path.
Fig. 4 zeigt das Atemschutzgerät im Bereitschaftsbehälter 7. Fig. 4 shows the respirator in the standby tank 7. 14 with the lower part of the standby container and 15 with its lid. Both parts are pressed airtight against each other by known closure members (not shown). The standby container 7 is provided with an eyelet part 16 to be attached to the waist belt of the device carrier Ge.
The breathing apparatus must be stored in a shockproof manner in the standby container 7 . This is advantageously carried out by the coating 2 above and c rings to molded beads 2 below.
Fig. 5 shows an enlarged view of serving as collision protection beads 2 c between the chemical cartridge 1 and the wall of the lower part 14 of the ready container 7.
