Abstract

The fuel mixtures in petrol engines are injected into the cylinder chamber for combustion. For this reason an additional process for improved dissolution of even the smallest petrol droplets must be included. The device for improved dissolution of liquid fuels is intended to serve this purpose. A regulating flange, fitted on the intake pipe or passage area can produce horizontal swirl energy through adjustable nozzles, by means of the intake force of piston and cylinder. The fuel mixtures injected by the carburettor are thoroughly dissolved to the point of gasification. The guide and retaining parts are so designed that the flow varies diagonally, thereby also producing swirl. Tapered hollow bodies, which due to the suction effect of the cylinder produce swirl zones, which dissolve even the smallest petrol droplets are arranged vertically to the flow from carburettor into the intake pipe.
