Zu besonders niedrigen Werten in bezug auf den Reibungskoeffizienten und zu besonders hohen Werten in bezug auf die Standzeit kommt man dann, wenn das Gleitbauteil so eingesetzt wird, daß die Richtung der Ram-Extrusion mit der Richtung der Gleitbeanspruchung des Gleitbauteils übereinstimmt. Aber auch wenn die genannten Richtungen entgegengesetzt sind, erreicht man besondere Vorteile.
