Description

Verfahren zur Gewinnung von Schwefel aus Schwefelwasserstoff oder Schwefelwasserstoff enthaltenden Gasen. Durch das Hauptpatent 303862 und durch das Zusatzpatent 338829 ist ein Verfahren geschützt, Schwefel aus Schwefelwasserstoff oder Schwefelwasserstoff enthaltenden Gasen zu gewinnen. Es besteht darin, daß das mit der erforderlichen Menge Luft oder Sauerstoff vermischte Gas, mit oder ohne Zusatz von basischen Stoffen, wie Aminen oder Ammoniak, auf poröse Kohle, wie Tier- oder Holzkohle, einwirkt.Process for the production of sulfur from hydrogen sulphide or gases containing hydrogen sulphide. Dabei gelingt es, diese Kohle mit noch mehr als roo Prozent ihres Gewichtes an Schwefel zu beladen.
