Die Flüssigkeit i wird daher bei L hochgesaugt, während sich der Spiegel m im Kanal g bis zur Unterkante von c senkt. Alsdann treten hier Luftblasen über, die durch die Flüssigkeit hindurch nach l und weiter nach der Kammer n gelangen.
