Device for the continuous extraction and distillation of bituminous fuels.
It is known to continuously distill and extract bituminous fuels,
in that the material to be treated is passed through the work area in an uninterrupted flow
will. The device is such that on one side by a
Feeding device, the fuel is continuously supplied, then in the device
treated by heating etc. and finally on the other side by a discharge device
is permanently removed. To promote the fuel through the device are
various aids, such as screw conveyors, closed and open conveyor troughs
used with scratches, bucket chains and the like. The has proven to be particularly advantageous
Vcr @ venduilg a chain grate-like conveyor on which the distillate
largely spared and on the other hand due to the possibility of an elongated
make thin layer, easily penetrated by heat and good yield
supplies. Very special advantages result if according to the invention in a
such device the heating by hot gases or superheated steam in
in such a way that a large number can be switched off individually and regulated individually
Supply pipes are attached below the fuel layer, whereby on the one hand
uniform heating of the layer is achieved, but on the other hand it is possible,
Depending on your requirements, the supply of heat and the temperature by switching pipes on and off
bz; @. the temperature distribution over the entire extent of the layer increases as desired
design. It is Z. B. possible near the point of entry of the goods into the
To let work space a higher temperature prevail than at the end of the same or
to increase the temperature from the beginning to the middle and then decrease again
or even a gradual increase in temperature during the entire throughput
to enter after your end. This advantage is neither with the elderly
Types of fuel heating by a single one that is not at all adjustable
Heat source or a few heat sources can still be achieved through the older forms
the conveyance of the fuel through the work area. It is therefore closely related
with the promotion in the form of a broad, relatively low, elongated
Current through a chain grate or similar means and the attachment_ of numerous
feed pipes for the heating means that can be switched off individually.
In the drawing, an embodiment of the invention is shown as an example. It is a wrought iron kettle in which the detillation and extraction are carried out. The material to be processed enters at b through a lock and falls onto a chain grate c, which is looped around two rollers d and e in a manner known per se and is driven from the outside. The processed material leaves the boiler at about f and is removed through a lock. The heat supply pipes g1, g2, g $, etc. are attached as close as possible below the chain grate; each pipe can be switched off individually by a valve h, h2, h, etc.; the superheated steam or the hot gases are supplied through the common pipe i. The valves h, h2 etc. allow extensive control. the temperature acting on the fuel, because it is possible, as described above, to adjust the temperature curve within the room as desired by setting these valves in various ways. Instead of feeding all the pipes g, etc. from a single pipe i, they can also be combined in groups and charged with steam or gas at different temperatures, whereby a further control capability is achieved.
