festzuhalten.Glass reflector for incandescent lamps arranged horizontally. With rotating glass reflectors
in the case of incandescent lamps arranged horizontally, the so-called horizontal reflectors
so far, in order to prevent damage to the glass when it is fixed on the mounting bracket,
soft pads at the point of rotation between outer metal disks that absorb the pressure
placed, which through their resilient effect generate the friction necessary for locking,
without hindering the rotation of the reflector. -According to the present invention
these elastic pads and .the outer metal washers are omitted, and it
is the axis bore of the glass reflector with a resistant lining
made of metal and hard rubber o. the like .. provided, all the stresses when determining
of the reflector on the bracket and so the edge of the glass against breaking or splintering
protects. The elimination of the elastic intermediate layers. and inserting the metal discs
in the axis opening of the reflector means a significant simplification through
Reduction of the parts and results in a smaller space requirement at the fastening point,
so that you can get close to the glass reflector with the carrier without a disturbing gap
can approach. It has been shown that the friction between the lining
and the mounting bracket is sufficient to operate the reflector automatically in every position
to hold on.
Halt findet. The AGhsausfütter @ ung can on the side facing the handle
be provided with a flange covering the glass rim, so that the glass is particularly
is reliably protected. The flange still offers the advantageous option
an easy and convenient safeguard against twisting, because you need this
Purpose to provide only one tooth or some other projection on the flange, the one on the glass body
Finds support.
Ein Ausführungsbeispiel ist auf der Zeichnung dargestellt. An exemplary embodiment is shown in the drawing.
Fig. R is an axial longitudinal section through one end of a horizontal
Glass reflector, Fig. A the front view, and Fig. G the detail view of the lining.
Papiermasse o. dgl. besteht. The glass reflector ca has openings in the direction of its longitudinal axis
Fitting the support bracket, not shown, and for cable entry, as known.
According to the invention, these axle openings are provided with a flanged perforated disk
b, which, as the drawing shows, the glass edge of the axle openings
covered and secured with a tooth-like 'projection c in the glass body against rotation
is. As can be seen, all of the pressures encountered in locking the reflector will be
kept away from the edge of the glass and taken up by the lining b, which is made of metal., hard rubber,
Paper pulp or the like consists.
Of course, the shape of the lining can be different than the one on
be shown in the drawing. The flange is z. B. not absolutely necessary; provided
the disc is chosen to be strong enough to go beyond the glass after an or
protrude on both sides, so that the metal parts of the bracket o. The like. The glass
cannot soften. To hold
of the chuck in the axle hole
at. the disc tongues can be provided, which are bent over to secure the position.
Instead of one tooth c, there may be two or more thereof. The axle hole
in the glass reflector can also be square or polygonal and for the inclusion of a corresponding
square or polygonal lining .. You protect that in this way
Lining prevents twisting and saves a special hole in the glass for the tooth c.
