Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Gefäß, welches besonders für eine langdauernde Behandlung
von Tabakblättern mit Flüssigkeiten, wie sie z. B. zum Bleichen von Tabakblättern erforderlieh
ist, eingerichtet ist. Das Gefäß besitzt einen Deckel, der mit Öffnungen für den Durchtritt
der Flüssigkeit versehen ist und in das Innere des Gefäßes hineinpaßt. Zum Auflegen des
Deckels sind im Innern des Gefäßes Vorsprünge ίο angebracht, die solchen Abstand vom oberen
Rande des Gefäßes haben, daß oberhalb des aufgelegten Deckels genügend Raum zur Aufnahme
der infolge des Aufquellens der Tabakblätter ansteigenden Flüssigkeit bleibt. '

unten mit einer verschließbaren Öffnung b für den Ablauf der Flüssigkeit versehene Gefäß a

Innere des Gefäßes hineinpassende Deckel d gelegt wird. Der Deckel d verhindert, daß die
Tabakblätter dem durch ihr Aufquellen bewirkten Ansteigen des Flüssigkeitsspiegels M- gen,
