Abstract

This is an invention which offers greater safety to the users of pedestrian crossings. A pedestrian does not normally cross the pedestrian crossing until: a) there is no traffic and he can then cross the road without risk, b) if there is traffic, only when he has convinced himself that an approaching vehicle is not moving forwards but has stopped in front of the pedestrian crossing in order to allow him to pass. This vehicle waiting in front of the crossing triggers a contact by means of the induction loop located in the road, as a result of which the connected computer triggers the flashing lights which are installed on the pedestrian crossing. As a result, all the approaching vehicles are warned that pedestrians are crossing. If all the vehicles have begun to move again once all the pedestrians have crossed, the flashing light goes out again after an appropriate time. In the first case, when there is no traffic and the pedestrians are crossing the road the flashing lights do not come on.

Description

Unfallstopp auf Fußgängerüberwegen durch Blinklicht.Flashing lights stop accidents on pedestrian crossings.

I know that almost every day people walk on pedestrian crossings come to harm. The main causes of single and two-lane carriageways exist in that when one vehicle stops to let a penitent over, another Vehicle does not recognize this situation or recognizes it too late and it does so for both sides is often too late. This danger is particularly great, often from children and the elderly People not recognized that they then clueless or determined about the Go street. Particularly great dangers are also caused by a bulky vehicle, which waits in front of a crossing. There can be no eye contact between the approaching vehicles and the passing pedestrians, what then the result is that puss-goers suddenly appear in the middle of the mountain path, because these were covered by the bulky vehicle. Single lane with Pedestrian crossings can be just as dangerous as two-lane ones Roadways. A vehicle now stops in front of a single-lane crossing to F'ussganger experience has shown that vehicles can still pass through here overtake and thereby put human life in extreme danger.

The invention is based on the object of all approaching road users To give the timely warning and alert them that now a pedestrian crossing is taking place. There are also specially warned vehicles, who do not cross pedestrians due to their visibility in time can recognize.

This object is achieved according to the invention in that with two-lane Lanes, see sketch I, let into the lanes on the left and right, Induction loops are located, which are connected to a small computer. the Induction loops report every vehicle change to the computer.

If a vehicle stops over an induction loop, it will communicated to the computer, which in turn immediately switched off the flashing lights that were sent to him is connected, (left and right of the roadway) starts. Come on now A second vehicle on the branch lane is added to a two-lane lane, so it switches the computer only switches off the turn signal system again when, as in our example, both vehicles have started. Let's say while the pedestrian crosses the crosswalk happened, there was only one waiting vehicle, whether left or right on the right on the parking lane, the computer first switches the turn signal system on again until this has started.

In jeder Fahrtrichtung, s. Let us now turn to the layout for single-lane lanes. In each Direction of travel, see sketch II, is an induction loop in front of the Pugänger crossing let into the roadway, which is connected to a small computer. Remain If there is a vehicle in front of the pedestrian crossing, this is reported to the computer, which in turn activates the flashing lights connected to it (in both directions) puts. Has the pedestrian crossed the street and is it for this one vehicle? remains, the computer switches the flashing lights off again when this starts is. Let us assume that on the opposite lane also a car waits for the pedestrian to cross the street. The computer switches how In our example, the flashing lights only go out again when both vehicles have switched have started again.

The computer switches on both types of lane, see sketch I and II, the flashing lights only turn off after a reasonable time after he has received the message received via the induction loops that no more vehicles in front of the pedestrian crossing holds.
