Description
AUSGEGEBEN AM 17. JANUAR 1321ISSUED ON JANUARY 17, 1321
A. Buck & Co. in Zürich.A. Buck & Co. in Zurich.
There are already electrically heated fabrics known, in which, the heating wire without any other type of attachment thereby with the tissue is connected that the heating wire, when weaving this fabric itself, be it as a chain, be it as an impact that has been used. This type of connection has the disadvantages that the wire must be very thin in order to be flexible enough for manipulation during weaving be. As a result, it is subject to damage and repair is the same also very difficult for the reason that the wire is in intimate bond with the textile thread is intertwined in the fabric. The further disadvantage is that the wire only can run in a straight line and can not be arranged according to any template.
Furthermore, electrically heatable fabrics are known in which the heating wire through the Fabric is sewn through and thus easily attached to it. But here are the side by side sections of two adjacent seams on one and the same side of the fabric, which is due to the great flexibility of the same in use, e.g. B. as a thermal bandage, makes the risk of short circuits possible.
35-The object of the present invention avoids the disadvantages of the known electrical heatable fabric in that the heating wire is pierced in such a way that that of sections running side by side, two adjacent seams each open the top, the other on the underside of the fabric, so that short circuits as possible are avoided. 35-
Two exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are illustrated in the drawing.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 1, the heating wire δ is pierced straight through the fabric a in such a way that it appears alternately as a wire section c on the top and as a wire section d on the underside of the fabric. In addition to the already drawn wire 1, a wire 2 is now pierced in the same direction, but in such a way that the section d of the wire 2 adjacent to the section c of the wire 1 lying on the upper side of the fabric comes to rest on the underside of the fabric, so that the wire sections c, c, c ... or d, d, d ... respectively lying on one and the same side of the fabric are as far away from each other as possible. The ends e of the adjacent wires 1 and 2 are connected at the edges of the fabric by twisting them together. The heating wires 3 and 4 are pierced in the same way, the wire 3 being connected to the wire 2 at the other edge at e , etc.
