Patented in the German Empire on March 13, 1885.

By means of this machine the wings F. Fig. 5 are to be cut off on pressed round chair needles, which wings have formed during the pressing of the steel wire for the purpose of producing the needle point.

In a frame a, ^{FIGS. 1} to 4 provided with lugs a} , a carriage b is guided, in which the two cutter inserts c are screwed, with screw c 1 serving to lower the cutter inserts, and the latter have one on the cutting edge below large space between which the rib or rib in the middle of the wing F Needle point equals.
