Description
The previously used x-ray cassettes to accommodate the photosensitive plate adheres to a defect that is in the Practice makes very annoying claims. It consists in that the cassette is more hygienic Respect does not meet the simplest requirements, since the side what the patient come to rest, mostly made of cardboard, and therefore cannot be cleaned, although the most varied of patients are placed one behind the other on the cassette have to. Not to mention the feeling of uncleanliness, both for the patient as well as being awakened by the doctor with such a procedure means defective The possibility of cleaning is also a danger, especially for patients with contagious Diseases. The present invention is based on that side of the cassette, on which the patient comes to lie, made from a washable fabric, z. B: cellon, celluloid or the like cellon and celluloid also have the property absorb the X-rays to a lesser extent, so that the material is in the interest greater resistance can be taken thicker than the material previously used. The Zellon is expediently pulled over the edge of the cassette so that the patient's body only comes into contact with the removable material comes. To protect the plate from the rays of light, the cellon or celluloid is used or the other materials used light-tight, preferably colored black through. This also has the advantage that the cassette can never become unsightly in the In contrast to the previously used, the smallest injury to the cardboard asserts quite annoying.
