Die auf der beiliegenden Zeichnung dargestellte regulirbare Füllfeuerung für Dampfkessel hat den Zweck, das Brennmaterial für eine längere Betriebsdauer aufschütten zu können, ohne eine Nachfüllung nöthig zu machen. Hierdurch wird der Zutritt der kalten Luft beim Aufwerfen des Brennmaterials auf ein möglichst geringes Mafs beschränkt und der Heizer entlastet.
