Maschinenanlasser.
Machine starter. The present invention relates to one type of construction
a machine starter, which is characterized by driving force, such as. B.
an electric motor and a drive for transmitting the motor power to one
Part of the machine to be started, such as B. the flywheel of the same with the help. one
rotating screw shaft and a gear arranged with a thread on it. This
. Drive consists of a screw shaft, which is either direct or indirect
driven by the electric motor and a gear, which is threaded
placed on this shaft, perform a longitudinal movement on it as well
can circulate with the same.
In this design or this drive, a helical spring is used as
compliant drive means used for the screw shaft, and during operation
of the drive there is the possibility that the turns of this spring inward
be pulled, enter any opening or space and wedged therein
will. The purpose of the present invention is now to be simple and nevertheless effective
To provide means of preventing such action of the spring.
Teile. In the drawing, Fig. I is a side view of a drive with
present invention, partially in section, Fig. 2 is a cross section along the line
2-2 of Fig. I, and Figs. 3 and q. are perspective views of the two sliding
Parts.
The drive consists of a hollow screw shaft i, which is driven by the extended armature shaft 2 of a starter motor 3. A gear q mounted on the shaft with a thread. can with the rotating part of the machine to be started, such. B. the teeth 5a of the flywheel 5, are brought into engagement. The armature shaft extends through the screw shaft, and a collar 17 is attached to its outer end with the aid of a bolt 6. The power of the motor is transmitted to the screw shaft by a resilient drive means consisting of a coil spring 8, one end of which is fixed to the bolt 6 and the other end to the pin 9. The latter is screwed into a reinforcement or a collar ia of the screw shaft. A sleeve 15 is arranged in the interior of the spring and surrounds the outer smooth part of the screw shaft between the said collar ia and the collar x7. This sleeve has a series of longitudinal ribs 15 ' with grooves in between, in which the latter the extensions 16a of the cylindrical part 16 of the collar 17 attached to the armature or drive shaft can slide. A weak coil spring 18 surrounds the armature shaft and tends to hold the sleeve 15 in the correct position against the end of the screw shaft. The sleeve and the said collar can slide on one another in the longitudinal direction, but always offer a smooth surface which can be touched by the coils of the spring without the same being able to fall into an open space.
