Abstract

1. Process of fabricating a fleece from a pourable chip- or fiber-shaped moulding compound which is either non-rising or has only poor rising properties and is mixed with a binding agent, in a mould for the subsequent moulding of a profiled body by employing a box-shaped container (1) which is capable of being placed on to the lower part (2) of a moulding tool and is filled with the moulding compound, with said container (1) having a screen-shaped or perforated bottom (3) from where the moulding compound, caused by an oscillatory movement of the screen-shaped or perforated bottom (3), enters into the lower part (2) of the moulding tool, characterized in that, in a first step, the volume of the lower part (2) of the moulding tool is reduced in such a way that only a very small space remains between the bottom (9) of the lower part (2) of the moulding tool and the screen-shaped or perforated bottom (3), that then the container (1) as filled with the moulding compound, is placed heavily on to the lower part (2) of the moulding tool, and that only thereafter the volume of the lower part (2) of the moulding tool is increased to the necessary amount, with the moulding compound then being filled into this volume in the manner known per se.
