Faßspund. Es ist ein längst gefühltes Bedürfnis in der Brauindustrie, die zum Abdichten der Transportfässer notwendigen sogenannten Spundläppchen entbehrlich zu machen. Alle bisherigen Versuche, die ganzen Spunde aus einem abdichtenden Material herzustellen haben jedoch. zu keinem Resultat geführt, da die -so erzeugten Spunde viel zu teuer zu stehen kamen und sich große Schwierigkeiten ergaben beim Entfernen derselben aus dem Faß.Barrel bung. Dieser Metallspund erhält zum Zweck der Abdichtung einen aus Leder oder ähnlichem Material bestehenden Ring c aufgesetzt, ferner eine Abschlußscheibe aus Metalld. Das Ganze wird durch Niete e zusammengehalten. In Fig. :2 der Zeichnung ist- - der Abdichtungsring c im Schnitt dargestellt. Dieser Ring, welcher -mit dem gleichen Gewinde wie der Metallspund b versehen ist und infolge des dazu verwendeten Materials vollständig abdichtet, .kann entweder auf der oberen oder unteren Seite des Metallspundes b angebracht werden, j e nachdem sich dies für die Abdichtung als günstiger erweist. Auf der Zeichnung ist die Befestigung unten vorgenommen mit Rücksicht auf einen großen Teil der im Gebrauch befindlichen Spunde, bei welchen: die notwendige Aussparung zur Aufnahme des Abdichtungskörpers (Ring c) bereits vorhanden ist.These disadvantages are easily overcome by the present invention Fixed.
