Den Gegenstand der Erfindung bildet eine Einrichtung an Formpressen oder -maschinen zur Herstellung von gepreßten Ziegeln, Scheiben, Platten u. dgl., welche die Anwendung eines sehr hohen Druckes schon bei der Herstellung der genannten Erzeugnisse ermöglichen soll, um die nachträgliche Verwendung hydraulischer Pressen entbehrlich zu machen.Compression press with two endless,. Die betreffende Einrichtung besteht darin, daß die zwischen jeder Kette und den zugehörigen Bettplatten eingeschalteten -Rollglieder - in Form eines Satzes. zueinander paralleler, lose hintereinanderliegender Wälzrollen - mittels ihrer Lagerzapfen durch eine unterbrochene Laufbahn bildende Führungen und Mitnehmerräder gestützt werden. Es wird hierdurch der Vorteil erreicht, daß trotz der Ausübung eines sehr großen Druckes die Reibung `der endlosen Formgliederketten praktisch fest aufgehoben wird. Die allein auftretende Reibung beim Betriebe der Formpresse beschränkt sich auf die- Berührungsstelle der Lagerzapfen mit- ihren Führungen.
