Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Klebstoffs. Die vorliegende Erfindung bezweckt die Herstellung eines Klebstoffs aus Dicyandiamid, Formaldehyd und Schwefelsäure, der je nach den Mengenverhältnissen der Bestandteile und dem Zusatz von Wasser für die verschiedensten Zwecke benutzt werden kann. Beispiel: ioo g Dicyandiamid und etwa zoo g Formaldehyd (3o prozentig) versetzt man vorsichtig mit 15 g konz. Schwefelsäure und erhitzt unter Umrühren, wobei das Dicyandiamid sich löst und bei etwa 8o bis 85° mit Formaldehyd zu reagieren beginnt. Ein weiteres gelindes Erwärmen von etwa 112 Stunde genügt zur Beendigung der Reaktion.
