Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine weitere Ausbildung der durch Patent 280149 geschützten, zur einstellbaren Befestigung von Bändern, Gurten, Riemen usw. dienenden Schnalle, aus Zwei drehbar zusammenhängenden rahmeriförmigen Klemmbügeln, bei welcher der Klemmsteg des einen Bügels mit einem leistenf örmigen Ansatz versehen ist, welcher tiefer als der gegenüberliegende Klemmsteg des anderen Bügels angeordnet ist und der diesen in der Schließstellung umfaßt. > Demgegenüber besteht die Neuerung gemäß der Erfindung im wesentlichen darin, daß der mit dem leistenförmigen Ansatz versehene Klemmbügel nicht nur drehbar, sondern auch in der Richtung des Bandzuges verschiebbar auf dem anderen Klemmbügel angeordnet ist. Während also bei der Schnalle nach Patent 280149 der Spielraum zwischen dem leistenförmigen Ansatz des einen Klemmbügels und dem gegenüberliegenden Klemmsteg des anderen Bügels ohne Rücksicht auf die Dicke des Bandes immer derselbe bleibt, kann sich infolge der Verschiebbarkeit des mit dem leistenförmigen Ansatz versehenen Klemmbügels dieser Spielraum entsprechend der Dicke der jeweils verwendeten Bänder selbsttätig verschieben und einstellen.
