Abstract

1. A process for selectively dissolving molybdenum in the presence of tungsten, particularly for selectively dissolving the tungsten core-wire from tungsten spirals manufactured on a molybdenum core-wire, with an acid solution of 1 or more compound(s) having oxygen in peroxide-oxygen bond, characterized in that one carries out the dissolving with an acid solution which does not contain nitric acid in the presence of 1 or more compound(s) of 1 or more of the elements iron, copper, thallium, silver, lead, chromium, nickel, bismuth, tellurium, cerium, titanium, vanadium, manganese and cadmium as a catalyst(s) which selectively accelerates (accelerate) the dissolving of the molybdenum.
