Abstract

The subject of the parent application P 3,109,879.7 is a process for the disposal of waste products arising downstream of coal-fired power stations and for the utilisation thereof, using waste heat from the power station for the manufacture of dam-building materials or the like for underground mining. The waste products to be disposed of, such as filter ash and flue gas desulphurisation gypsum, are mixed with the wet and/or dried calcium chloride from the flue gas scrubbing and used with further addition of further binders and hardeners, such as cement, as dam-building material and/or backfill material for underground mining.
