Letzteres wird auf folgende Weise zusammengestellt : Der Theil A wird mit seinem unteren Ende α in das obere hohle Ende α des Theiles B (rechtes Zugeisen) geschoben, worauf die Schraube C in das Loch des unteren Endes a des Theiles A eingeschraubt wird. Dann wird das Ende b' des Theiles E in das untere Ende b des Theiles B eingeschoben und die Schraube D in das Loch des Endes b' des Theiles E eingeschraubt. Hierauf wird das Ende a' des Theiles F in das Ende a! des Theiles E so gesteckt, dafs die Löcher in eine Linie fallen; der Theil G, dessen mit Schraubenlöchern durchbohrte Wände unter einem" Winkel von 90⁰ zusammenstofsen (in a-ß), unter die so in einander gepafsten Enden a! der Theile E und F gelegt und die Schraube H mit dem Ringe hineingeschraubt. Bei diesem System aber stellt man sich vor das Pferd mit dem bei b'" am Theile A geöffneten Kummet und schiebt dann dasselbe aufwärts, bis der untere Theil bei g, Fig. 1, an der Brust anliegt. Darauf kann man bei b'" im Theile A mit dem Wirbel b" im Theile K schliefsen. Hier, wo das Kummet sich öffnen und schliefsen läfst (unter dem Verdeck, welches der mit Leder versehene Theil 2 des Theiles A ist, Fig. 4, und von dessen Form und Gröfse man sich aus Fig. 2 und 3 leicht einen Begriff macht), kann der Körper (Leder), der sich hier nach den Enden hin zuschärft, nach Belieben zusammen oder aus einander verschoben werden.
