Bei den bisher bekanntgewordenen Metall-Doppelkämmen besteht das Mittelstück aus Weichmetall und wird in besonderen Formen um die Enden der Metalldrahtzähne gegossen. Derartige Doppelkämme besitzen außer den hohen Gestehungskosten des Gußmetalles noch den Nachteil, daß'sie wenig haltbar sind und oftmals schon bei geringem Druck brechen. Durch die Erfindung wurde ein Metall-Doppelkamm geschaffen, dem diese Nachteile nicht anhaften und der ohne jedes Lot auf kaltem Wege hergestellt wird.
