Es ist schon festgestellt worden, daß die Sprödigkeit von Blei-Natriumlegierung durch Zusatz von Zinn vermindert werden kann. Auch auf die günstige Wirkung eines weiteren Zusatzes von Kupfer ist bereits hingewiesen worden. Weitere Versuche haben nun gezeigt, daß der Kupferzusatz zu Blei-Natriumlegierungen auch allein eine günstige Einwirkung hat insofern, als die Legierung zäher wird ίο und nicht reißt, falls sie Wärmespannungen ausgesetzt ist. Der Zusatz von Kupfer zu Blei-Natriumlegierungen bewirkt eine außerordentliche Verfeinerung des Bruchkornes. Hierbei muß jedoch die Kupfermenge geringer als 1Z2 Prozent sein. Eine geeignete Legierung J5 entsteht z. B. bei einem Na-Gehalt von ι Prozent und einem Cu-Gehalt von 0,2 Prozent.It has already been found that the brittleness of lead-sodium alloy can be reduced by adding tin.
