Abstract

The case comprises a centre part (11), a watch back (17) and a watch glass (16). The frame (15), for securing the watch glass (16), and the watch back (17) are both securing to the centre part (11) via common screws (29), with a seal (27,31) interposed between each and the centre part (11). The screws (29) fit into recessed locating apertures in the watch back (17) and pass through aligned bores in the centre part (14) to engage threaded bores in the frame (15), which are closed at the opposite end by the rear face of the watch glass (16). An annular sealing ring (27) is pref. interposed between the frame (15) and the centre part (11), with a flat seal (31) between the watch back (17) and the centre part (11).
