Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung betrifft einen Deckelverschluß bei Selbstkochern, d. h.
bei Kochtöpfen, welche nach Ankochen des Inhalts in die sogenannte Kochkiste eingesetzt
werden. Bei der vorliegenden Konstruktion wird der geschlossene Kochtopf an dem Deckelgriff
erfaßt und in die Kochkiste eingesetzt, ebenso aus derselben ausgehoben, ohne daß
der Deckel sich hierbei abhebt. Die Seitengriffe des Kochtopfes sind drehbar angeordnet
und lassen sich behufs Verschluß des Deckels auf den letzteren niederklappen, um dann in
dieser Stellung durch den Deckelgriff beinv Aufrichten desselben gesichert zu werden.The present invention relates to a lid closure for self-cookers, d. H.

Die neue Konstruktion ist in der beiliegenden Zeichnung in Fig. 1 im Vertikalschnitt,

Der Deckel α ist in bekannter Weise mit einer Zarge b versehen, welche in den Oberteil
des Kochtopfes c eingreift. Der letztere trägt zwei in ösen drehbare Handgriffe e,
welche nach Auflegen des Deckels auf den Topf, wie in Fig. 1 veranschaulicht ist, auf
den Deckel α niedergeklappt werden. Der Deckelgriff f ist in den aufgebogenen Enden g1
des mit dem Deckel α fest verbundenen Lappens g drehbar befestigt. Die in die Lappen g1
eingreifenden Teile f1 des Handgriffes sind verlängert bzw. parallel zum Deckel weitergeführt
und ihre Enden f 2 aufwärts gebogen,
wie aus Fig. 1 ersichtlich ist. Die Länge der Teile f1 ist so bemessen, daß die aufwärts
gebogenen Enden fz in die niedergeklappten
Topfgriffe e eingreifen. Wird nun der aufgelegte Deckel α bei niedergeklappten Topfgriffen
e am Handgriff f erfaßt und angehoben, so sperren die Enden f2 des Handgriffes in
der aufrechten Lage die Topfgriffe β und verhindern, daß dieselben behufs Freigabe des
Deckels α aufwärts geklappt werden können. In der Gebrauchslage sichert also der Handgriff
f des Deckels den Verschluß desselben, so daß der Kochtopf mit Sicherheit aus der
Kochkiste ausgehoben oder in dieselbe eingesetzt werden kann, ohne befürchten zu müssen,
daß der Deckel, an dessen Handgriff der Topf ■ erfaßt wird, sich abhebt.The lid α is provided in a known manner with a frame b which engages in the upper part of the saucepan c. If the placed lid α is grasped and lifted on the handle f with the pot handles e folded down, the ends f 2 of the handle in the upright position lock the pot handles β and prevent them from being folded upwards to release the lid α. In the position of use, the handle f of the lid secures the closure of the same, so that the saucepan can be safely lifted out of the cooking box or inserted into it without having to fear that the lid, on the handle of which the saucepan is grasped, will be takes off.
