Unterschreitet nun die Belastung dieser Turbine eine bestimmte Grenze, so würde dieselbe durch den ihrer Zwischenstufe ständig zuströmenden Abdampf zum Durchgehen gebracht. Um dies zu verhüten, muß dann eine Umschaltung der Ausflußleitung der Hilfsmaschine nach dem Kondensator oder nach der Atmosphäre vorgenommen werden. Gemäß der Erfindung wird diese Umschaltung von der gemeinsamen Steuerwelle β aus vorgenommen. Und zwar ist die Einrichtung dann so getroffen, daß der für das Umschaltventil auf der Daumenwelle vorgesehene Nocken erst dann zum Eingriff kommt, wenn die Einlaßorgane der betreffenden Vorwärtsturbine bereits geschlossen sind.To drive the centrifugal air, condensate and circulation pumps, auxiliary steam engines are used, the exhaust steam of which is fed to an intermediate stage of one or the other turbine in a manner known per se.
