Vorrichtung zur Überwachung des Ölstroms einer Einrichtung zur Öl+Luft-Schmierung von BauteilenDevice for monitoring the oil flow of a device for oil+air lubrication of components
The invention relates to a device for monitoring the oil flow of a device for oil+air lubrication of aggregates or their bearings, in which oil drops causing minimal lubrication, which are pulled apart in streaks by an air flow, are transported along the wall of a pipe in the flow direction of the air flow.
(Betriebshandbuch: Schmierungstechnik Zentralschmieranlagen der Willy Vogel AG, 1996, S. 4.15).The so-called oil+air lubrication is an efficient lubrication method that is always suitable for use when a finely metered flow of oil is to be supplied to a friction point as continuously as possible. The latter is the case, for example, with high-speed roller bearings, such as those found in machine tool spindles. Until now, the monitoring of the oil flow was the responsibility of the operating personnel, who carried out this by direct visual inspection. (Operating manual: Lubrication technology for central lubrication systems from Willy Vogel AG, 1996, p. 4.15).
Es versteht sich, daß die vorgenannte Art der Überwachung nicht nur die Verwendung durchsichtiger Rohrleitungen, sondern auch eine hinreichende Aufmerksamkeit der jeweiligenIt is understood that the above-mentioned type of monitoring requires not only the use of transparent pipes, but also sufficient attention of the respective

Bedienungsperson voraussetzte. The invention is based on the object of creating a device of the type envisaged which enables automatic monitoring of the lubricant supply to a bearing point with means which take the nature of oil+air lubrication into account. This object is achieved according to the invention in that the device has capacitive or optoelectronic sensors (2, 3; 10) which respond to fluctuations in the streak shape, size and/or sequence of the oil flow and which can be used to generate a display and/or intervene in the lubrication process or to switch off the unit to be lubricated. The device according to the invention makes use of the wave-like movement of the oil streaks in order to either influence the lubrication process, preferably by recording the frequency of the wave peaks or wave troughs, or to switch off the unit to be lubricated in the event of an insufficient supply of lubricant or in the event of a failure of the lubricant supply.
Particularly advantageous embodiments of the invention emerge from the subclaims.
Es zeigen:The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the block diagrams shown in the accompanying drawings. They show:

^4LjL den j dessen Feld durchIn Fig. 1, 1 is a relatively narrow plastic tube, in practice about 4 mm thick, which should be at least 1 m long in order to ensure the desired streak formation of the oil film in front of the monitoring point, which does not mix with the transport air. On opposite sides of the tube 1, two electrodes 2 and 3 are arranged, each partially enclosing the tube 1 and adapted to the shape of the wall, which measure the pairs in the tube 1 and whose field is determined by
