Claims (15)

1. Elektrische Sicherung, insbesondere für den Einsatz in Kraftfahrzeugen, mit wenigstens zwei Anschlüssen (1, 2) und einem zwischen den Anschlüssen vorgesehenem zerstörbaren Lei­ ter (5), dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß die elektrische Sicherung ein Dehnungselement (11, 20, 30, 31) aus einem Material aufweist, dessen Wärmeausdehnungs­ koeffizient verschieden von dem Wärmeausdehnungskoeffizient der Leiters (5) ist, und
daß der Leiter (5) und das Dehnungselement (11, 20, 30, 31) so zueinander angeordnet sind, daß bei einer bestimmten Temperatur des Dehnungselements (11, 20, 30, 31), das Dehnungselement einen zum Bruch des Leiters (5) führenden mechanischen Druck auf den Leiter (5) ausübt.

2. Elektrische Sicherung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Wärmeausdehnungskoeffizient des Dehnungselements (11, 20) größer ist als der Wärmeausdehnungskoeffizient des Leiters (5).2.
