Nachteilig an dieser Ausführungsform ist, daß der Außenbehälter zweiteilig mit einer Trennfuge ausgeführt ist. Weiter hat sich gezeigt, daß die Verwendung eines evakuierten Glaseinsatzes insbesondere bei der Nutzung als Soßenbehälter durch seine Stoßempfindlichkeit wegen der Verwendung von doch recht schweren Soßenlöffeln nicht geeignet ist. Es kommt sehr leicht zum Bruch. Aufgabe der Neuerung ist es deshalb, ein Gefäß zur Temperaturhaltung zu schaffen, das sehr einfach im Aufbau gehalten ist und das auch einen Stoß durch einen größeren, schwereren Löffel, ohne weiteres aushält.
