Die Erfindung betrifft ein Pedal, dessen Bauart geeignet ist, die an dem Pedal angreifende Leistung zu messen, wobei die an dem Pedal auftretenden mechanischen Größen (Tretkraft, Tretkraftdauer und Tretfrequenz) in elektrische Signale umgewandelt werden und einem Kleincomputer zur Auswertung und Speicherung zugeführt werden.(Abb.l, Fig.2) Die erhaltenen Werte sind ein Maß für die erbrachte Leistung. Der Kleincomputer rechnet aus den eingelesenen Signalen, den Energieverbrauch eines Menschen während einer Freizeitaktivität oder eines Trainings aus und zeigt den Wert, Energieverbrauch in Joule, oder Energieverbrauch in Kalorien, oder beide Werte, Energieverbrauch in Joule und Kalorien, bei Bedarf auf einem Display an. Diese Aufgabe wird dadurch gelöst, daß die an dem Pedal angreifende Kraft auf einen
Drucksensor wirkt, der z.B. ein elektrisches, proportionales Analogsignal erzeugt. Das
Analogsignal wird über einen A/D Umsetzer in Binärsignale umgewandelt und einem
Prozessor zugeführt, der die Berechnung der eigentlichen Arbeit durchführt, mit dem Faktor
2 multipliziert (das Gegenpedal braucht keine Elektronik) und die Umrechnung (in den
Energieverbrauch eines Menschen) in Joule und/oder Kalorien auf einem Display bei Bedarf
anzeigt. (Abb. 2) Das Prinzip mikromechanischer Drucksensoren ist weitgehend bekannt und
wird zum Beispiel in dem Buch „Mikromechanik" von S. Büttgenbach, Verlag B.G.
Teubner, beschrieben. Als Stromquelle kann eine Batterie oder ein Akku dienen.
Die Meßeinrichtung soll bei allen Antrieben, die durch Pedale erfolgt, einsetzbar sein. Auch
ist es für die Leistungserfassung und die damit verbundene Umrechnung in einen Energieverbrauch eines Menschen unwichtig, ob z. B. eine Kettenschaltung, eine
Nabenschaltung oder keine Schaltung zugeschaltet ist Durch ein Normgewinde ist, zum
Beispiel für Fahrräder, eine nachträgliche Montage problemlos. (Abb.l, Fig.l) Auch wäre
ein Normgewinde mit Einrastmechanismus, zur schnellen Demontage denkbar. Durch diese
Art der Leistungsmessung ist eine nichtstationäre, wie auch eine stationäre Erfassung des

The measuring device should be usable with all pedal-driven systems. It is also unimportant for the performance measurement and the associated conversion into a person's energy consumption whether, for example, a derailleur gear, a hub gear or no gear is connected. A standard thread makes subsequent installation easy, for example for bicycles. (Fig.l, Fig.l) A standard thread with a locking mechanism for quick removal would also be conceivable. This type of performance measurement makes it possible to record a person's energy consumption both stationary and non-stationary.
