State of the art

Mosquito nets are available in various designs, e.g.:

1. For indoor use

A circular ring or a small frame is suspended from the ceiling or from a suitable bracket above a sleeping area, from which the net spreads out over the sleeping area, expanding from top to bottom.

2. For indoor use

A rectangular wooden frame, approximately the size of the bed, is attached to the ceiling above the sleeping area. From there, the net hangs almost vertically down all four sides of the bed like a canopy.

3. For use in (covered) outdoor areas

A net made as a so-called rectangular net is put over a sleeping area like a cuboid open at the bottom, with the fastening being carried out at specific points from the four upper corners and edges and the side surfaces hanging down almost vertically.

4. For use in (covered) outdoor areas

A pyramid-shaped net is secured in a tent-like manner at its upper tip and at the four base points.

5. For use in (covered) outdoor areas

Mosquito net in the form of a curved dome tent with an integrated solid floor. The net hangs below a curved tent pole and is attached to the pole from below with several straps.

Criticism (disadvantages) of the state of the art

1. Ceiling fastening is required. The fabric falls concavely inwards and restricts freedom of movement. The fabric must be cut in diagonally cut strips.

2. Ceiling attachment is required. There is good room to move, but a lot of material is used. Flexibility is limited due to the rigid wooden frame.

3. There is enough room to move around, but the material used is large. The material must be made to measure. For multiple point fastenings, suitable holding devices must be available in the room or outside.

4. The net must be made to fit the pyramid shape. Little freedom of movement due to the sloping roof.

5. This construction is well suited for outdoor use, but not indoors above a sleeping area. The net must be assembled and the loops must also be sewn on.

The invention specified in claim 1 is based on the problem of constructing a space-forming system, in particular as a construction frame for a mosquito net (insect protection fabric or curtain fabric) in such a way that there is good freedom of movement above the sleeping area in terms of height, width and length, that the frame does not require any ceiling fastening and is easy to assemble, disassemble and handle flexibly, and that the insect protection fabric does not have to be made up and does not require any special fastenings but is simply spread out over the frame.

This problem is solved with the features listed in claim 1.

Benefits achieved

The invention makes it possible to construct a construction frame for a mosquito net from individual parts to suit different bed sizes and types.

Ceiling mounting is not necessary.

The size of the individual frame parts can be selected and arranged flexibly so that they correspond to the length, width and height of the bed and thus good freedom of movement under the mosquito net (insect protection fabric, curtain fabric) is guaranteed.

The mosquito net only needs to be hemmed. The fabric is spread out over the frame in the shape of a large rectangle.

When not in use, the individual parts can be stored to save space.

The invention is suitable in conjunction with mosquito nets (insect protection fabric or fine curtain fabrics) as insect protection for sleeping and lying areas in:
