ANNEX TO THE APPLICATION FOR REGISTRATION OF A UTILITY MODEL

I would like to explain in more detail below the neurodermatitis overall for children referred to in No. 6 of the application for registration of a utility model, which I would like to register:

The starting point for my idea to produce an improved neurodermatitis overall was that the conventional overall from another manufacturer had the following defects, which were filtered out in cooperation with affected parents:

The seams are on the inside and can therefore irritate the affected skin even further. The zipper at the front can be opened by children despite wearing gloves, which means that the affected skin is no longer protected. Furthermore, the zipper wrinkles after washing, so that the child's skin (chin) comes into contact with the material, which in turn represents an additional strain on the skin. Furthermore, there are rubber elastic bands on the hands, feet and waist of the overalls, under which moisture builds up due to sweating and prevents skin diseases from healing.

For the reasons mentioned above, we produce a neurodermatitis overall that has the following improvements:

The seams and labels, which are made of cotton thread, have been moved to the outside, which is a great relief for the affected skin. The fastener of the overalls has been replaced by nickel-free snap fasteners on the back, so that the children have no opportunity to undress. This button strip has also been lined with cotton on the inside to prevent direct skin contact. Elastic cuffs have been dispensed with, and instead wide cotton cuffs have been used on the wrists and ankles. The suit should therefore not be seen as an additional burden for the little ones, as the wide and comfortable cut allows them to play and romp around.

This cut also allows for sufficient air circulation, so that no heat builds up and the skin is not further irritated by increased sweating. Furthermore, to provide additional protection against scratches, I have double-reinforced the material on the armpits and knees, as well as on the attached gloves.

The success achieved is characterized by the fact that my overalls received a central pharmaceutical number from the Information Center for Medicinal Specialties, IFA GmbH, Frankfurt, and thus appear in the lurking index for doctors, pharmacies and pharmaceutical wholesalers. My overalls are prescribed by pediatricians and dermatologists for affected children and are subsidized by most health insurance companies, or the purchase price is fully reimbursed upon presentation of the doctor's prescription and the purchase invoice.

For this reason, I would like to have my neurodermatitis overall for children protected as a utility model.
