Commonly designed holders have an inclined plane as the rear wall, with a shelf on the lower side. Some devices have retaining brackets or front panels to secure the position of the opened magazine.

In particular, magazines that are not bound with staples are under tension when opened and tend to snap shut. The existing devices also do not take into account the different thicknesses of the two magazine halves, depending on the page that is opened. The base plate (1) is at least the size of the opened magazine. The spring plate (2), the stop profiles (3), the stop bolt (4), the spacer sleeves (8) and the wall hook (7) are attached to it. To insert the magazine, the spring plate is pulled towards the rear wall (1) using the handles (5) so that a gap opens between the spring plate (2) and the stop profile (3) for inserting the magazine. When released, the spring plate with the magazine is pressed against the stop profiles (3) by the spring plate (2) and the spring element (6).

The gap for inserting the magazine is also created when you press on the magazine lying on the spring plate (2).

The wall hook (7) allows the device to be moved horizontally on the wall, since the centre of gravity is not constantly located at one point (depending on the side opened).

The spacer sleeves set the distance between the device and the wall or serve as supports on horizontal surfaces (when replacing them with longer sleeves).
