Behältnisse für Wertsachen sind entweder kleine Ledertaschen, Beutel aus Kunststoff gewebe (meist mit Reißverschluß) oder Kunststoff beutel mit Druckknöpfen oder Druckleisten. Es gibt auch kleine rechteckige Kunststoffboxen, deren Deckel einseitig aufgeklappt werden kann. Außerdem gibt es noch runde, zylindrische oder mehr eiförmige Typen, die mit einer Kordel um den Hals getragen werden können. Alle genannten Varianten schützen in unterschiedlichem Grad vor Staub, Feuchtigkeit oder Nässe; aber zum Schwimmen oder gar zum Tauchen sind sie völlig ungeeignet, wenn auch noch größere Objekte, wie z.B. eine Kreditkarte aufgenommen werden sollen.Containers for valuables are either small leather bags, bags made of plastic fabric (usually with a zipper) or plastic bags with snap fasteners or snap fasteners. Der Behälter sollte es erlauben nicht nur Geldscheine, die man ja falten oder rollen kann, sondern auch den Personalausweis, Scheckkarte/Kreditkarte, Schlüssel, Tabletten o.a., oder eine wertvolle Uhr, etc. aufzunehmen. Der Behälter muß gleichzeitig so stark sein, daß er nicht vom Wasserdruck in größeren Tiefen deformiert wird. Eine weitere Forderung die erfüllt werden sollte ist eine Form, die dem menschlichen Körper angepaßt ist und nicht am Bewegen hindert. Speziell für Taucher ist es von Vorteil, wenn der Behälter zur Aufnahme von Wertsachen auch an einem breiten Gürtel getragen werden kann. Taucher tragen diese Gürtel bereits um z.B. Bleigewichte um die Hüfte zu legen, oder um ein Messer daran zu befestigen. Ein Behälter, der so dicht ist, kann allerdings bei verändertem Luftdruck Probleme machen, wenn man ihn öffnen will.The invention specified in the protection claim is based on the problem of creating a waterproof container for valuables that also allows diving with it. Im ganzen oberen Rand des Behälters ist eine 3X5 mm Nut, in welche eine 3 mm dicke Dichtung aus Gummi oder Kunststoff eingefügt ist. DeckelLid

In den beiden äußeren Enden des Deckels befinden sich jeweils eine 16 X 1 mm tiefe Bohrung , gefolgt von einer 2 mm tiefen 0 7 mm Durchbohrung; hier wird ein Gewindestift durchgesteckt. Oben rechts und links ist der Deckel ebenfalls mit 0 7 mm durchbohrt. In diese Durchbohrung fällt von der Oberseite des Deckels senkrecht jeweils eine weitere 0 3 mm Bohrung. In der Mitte des Deckels ist eine Vertiefung, gefolgt von einem M 4 Gewinde und einer Durchbohrung von 0 1 mm. Von dem M 4 Gewinde wird eine Druckausgleichsschraube aufgenommen. Hier findet beim Herausdrehen der Schraube ein Druckausgleich statt, der das Öffnen der Box erleichtert. Oben auf der Druckausgleichsschraube ist ein Schlitz für einen Schraubendreher und eine Kordierung, die es erlaubt die Schraube auch mit der Fingerkuppe zu drehen. Die Abdichtung dieser Schraube erfolgt durch eine 6X2 mm Gummidichtung. Auf der Innenseite des Deckels ist gegen die 0 1 mm Bohrung eine 0 6 mm und 1 mm tiefe Einbuchtung, sie soll eine Verstopfung der Durchbohrung verhindern. In der Innenseite des Deckels sind noch zwei kleine Kammern, 0 16 mm und 10 mm tief, die mit Kunststoffkappen verschlossen werden. Der Deckel wird mit den beiden Verschlußschrauben auf den Behälter geschraubt. In den Verschlußschrauben befindet sich jeweils ein M 6 Gewinde zur Aufnahme des Gewindestiftes. Der Rand der Verschlußschraube ist gerillt oder kordiert. Oben auf der Verschlußschraube befindet sich noch ein "Hütchen" über das ein Kunststoffband gestülpt werden kann, damit die Schraube nicht verloren geht. Dieses Kunststoffband wird am anderen Ende noch in die senkrechte Bohrung gesteckt. Auf der Außenseite des Deckels in der Mitte ist ebenfalls eine Kordierung, welche ein Festhalten des Deckels zwischen Daumen und Zeigefinger erleichtert. Zum Schutz vor Korrosion wird die Box, wenn sie aus Aluminium ist, innen und außen eloxiert.The lid has the same length and width as the container and is 4+3+10 mm thick.
