The invention relates to a shoe sole, in particular an insole, with a carrier to which studs made of an elastic material are applied on one side.
Shoe soles with a cushioning effect are currently made from foamed materials or filled with liquid, gel or air. With foamed shoe soles, the enclosed gas is pushed out of the foam cells over the course of use. This means that the shoe sole loses its spring effect. Furthermore, foamed shoe soles can hardly absorb moisture and do not allow the feet to breathe. The hydrocarbons required to produce the foamed shoe sole also pollute the environment. Insoles made from natural materials quickly wear out during use and therefore quickly lose their shock-absorbing effect. Insoles with a massaging effect are made from hard materials, which the user finds uncomfortable and annoying when wearing. Insoles are also already known that have round studs made from an elastic material on one side. However, these round studs tend to bend lengthways or crossways when the foot is put down. This means that the foot does not get a firm hold in the shoe.

The invention is based on the object of improving a shoe sole of the type mentioned at the outset so that it has good shock-absorbing properties and at the same time avoids the disadvantages mentioned above.
Um den Fuß vor starker Durchbiegung zu schützen, kann die Höhe der einzelnen Noppen dem Verlauf desThe object is achieved in the invention by the fact that the shoe sole has studs that are cross-shaped and/or star-shaped. This special stud shape remains dimensionally stable under the load of walking in the longitudinal and cross-direction while simultaneously absorbing shocks in the vertical direction. This means that the unavoidable shocks to the foot when the foot is put down are cushioned and at the same time the foot is fixed in its position in the shoe. In addition, the cross-shaped and/or star-shaped studs can massage the foot pleasantly, which can promote blood circulation and lead to a comfortably warm foot. The studs can be made from a thermoplastic material. This makes it possible to produce the shoe sole inexpensively in large quantities. The studs can be sprayed or glued onto the carrier. When spraying, any injection molding waste can be shredded and mixed into the raw material so that it can be processed again. This helps to save costs. Gluing is particularly suitable for smaller quantities. In addition, the studs can be distributed on the carrier with a different density. This different distribution of the studs leads to better shock absorption in areas subject to particularly high loads. It can also improve the massage effect in areas of the sole of the foot that have particularly sensitive reflex zones. The individual studs can have a different length and/or width. This also results in improved shock absorption when the foot steps on the ground. It also gives the studs additional bending stability in the preferred stress direction. To protect the foot from severe bending, the height of the individual studs can be adjusted to the course of the

The carrier can be made of a natural material or a plastic. This allows you to choose whether you want to give the shoe sole more breathable properties or whether you want to make it more inexpensive. In order to ensure air circulation and to ventilate the foot from below through an air-permeable carrier, the carrier can be made of a textile fabric. For environmental reasons, the carrier and studs can be made of a recyclable material. The shoe sole can be firmly attached to the shoe to ensure that the sole does not slip when the shoe is put on. As a further alternative, the shoe sole can also be inserted loosely for hygienic reasons. This means that it can be replaced with a new shoe sole if necessary or removed for washing.
An embodiment of a shoe sole according to the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawing.
The only figure shows a view from below of a shoe sole.
Es ist aber auch eine ungleichmäßige Verteilung derA carrier 11 is shown, onto which studs 12 made of an elastic material are applied on one side. The studs 12 each consist of a stud element 13 that is aligned in the longitudinal direction and an element 14 that is aligned perpendicularly to the element 13 in the transverse direction. The alignment of the element 13 in the longitudinal direction prevents the studs 12 from bending in the longitudinal direction. The alignment of the element 14 in the transverse direction excludes the studs 12 from bending in the transverse direction. In the embodiment shown here, the studs 12 are evenly distributed on the carrier 11. However, an uneven distribution of the
