Für gewisse operative und sonstige Zwecke bei der Heilung und Verhütung von Krankheiten bei Menschen und Tieren bedarf es häufig des Abschlusses von Kanälen, Höhlungen usw., um das Eindringen von Sekreten in die gesunden Partien zu verhindern und oberhalb derselben die Behandlung ungestört vornehmen zu können. Hierfür eine einwandfrei wirkende Vorrichtung zu schaffen, ist der Zweck der vorliegenden Erfindung. Bisher konnten Gummischwämme nicht zu diesem Zweck benutzt werden, weil Blut und Sekret durch diese hindurchdringen und eine Operation ungünstig beeinflussen konnten.
