A piece of jewellery which has the property of adorning the item of clothing in place of the button, e.g. as a cufflink or collar button, by means of a button sewn onto the item of clothing and a clamping device located on the piece of jewellery.

Problem:

The button decoration is used to embellish a button panel or a button, as a replacement for conventional cufflinks. Normally, for example,

• specially crafted cuffs for cufflinks (with two buttonholes) or

• as a piece of jewelry for a blouse, brooch pins on the piece of jewelry, which can damage the weave of the often delicate material.

These problems can be avoided with the gill mechanism of the button jewelry. Only the button on the clothing is decisive for the functionality of the button jewelry.
Decorative elements can also influence the carrier button.

• An example of this is a button decoration in the form of a bow tie, which can be attached to the top shirt button as a substitute for the bow tie that is normally made of fabric.

Cornelia Stretz, Bremerstrasse 46, 10551 Berlin PROTECTION CLAIMS General term: Button jewellery A button (blouse, shirt, jacket, coat, etc. button) can be clamped in place using a specific clamping device (description follows), which is attached to a hollow body piece of jewelry of any shape, for example. The button serves to hold the piece of jewelry and is no longer visible to the viewer because it is held in the hollow body, i.e. inside the ::: piece of jewelry. Instead of a closed hollow body (e.g. cylinder), the piece of jewelry can also be openwork, e.g. made of wire or with sawn-out work. The condition for this, however, is that there is room for a button inside. Characteristic part: Function of the mechanism The mechanism of the button jewelry is located on the base plate (1), i.e. on the back of the hollow body or hollow-body-like piece of jewelry made of metal (2). It consists of three key parts: 1.. A soldered metal tube through which a stainless steel wire is inserted, which is then bent into a U-shape. The button has thus become invisible to the observer after the closure process has been completed. The shape of each piece of jewelry is variable, as is the function in relation to the button sizes.
